Little J is flirting!

Among a long list of things that baby J started doing in the last month, such as eating meat, saying EVERY word he hears (in both English and Chinese), sleeping more etc., he is flirting! I mean serious flirting. Here is what happened at dinner in the local diner.

Imagine very relaxed sitting with tables and chairs just us three sitting at a table next to the fish tank, since that is baby's favorite. About five minutes after we sat down, a family of four came in, the younger daughter is about four... also very interested in the fishes. Baby J saw her, smiled (the really cute smile) and said very loudly "She cute!" Every time she passes us by (which is quite a bit, since she named all the fishes), Baby J would smile and say "hi!" or "hello!" and smile at her coyly. She would say "hi" back and wave and smile. This went on for most of dinner. Afterwards, they both stood next to the fish tank whispering to each other about what they saw in the tank.

I thought I had more years before this would happen!
